The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, especially in the central area, which feels charming. Unfortunately, that’s where the good impressions end. We were a group of four and ordered four pasta dishes and four meat dishes. The only good one was the tortellini; the gnocchi were bland, watery, and had no flavor at all. The meat dishes were not good either: the lamb was very greasy, the chicken was too salty, and the veal was tough and hard to chew. We wanted to give feedback to the waiter, but the service was poor, and no one came to our table for over 30 minutes. Finally, we went to the bar to pay and mentioned that we didn’t like the meat. The waiter did give us a scoop of melon sorbet each, but it tasted like water. Overall, it seems the restaurant wants to do well but doesn’t have the right skills to pull it off. It might be better to focus on a few good dishes instead of trying to do too much without the quality. We made a special trip to eat here, and we all left very disappointed.

Really enjoyed the food and wine here. One of the best restaurants we had In Puglia during the holidays. Also love the environment of this place feels quiet and romantic. Great for dates

We had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at this restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted really good. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and excellent service! We spent €86, which was quite reasonable for what we ordered.

Incredible meal at Osteria Caroseno!! The ambience was beautiful and quaint. This place is tucked in between a side street from the main road and can’t say enough good things. We ordered three of the pastas to share and they were all incredible. Rich flavor and really just good that was made with care. Only downside was desserts which left a bit more to be desired. The price that was paid for everything including wine was also really affordable. I can’t recommend this place enough! Book ahead and enjoy this lovely meal!

We had dinner here tonight and absolutely loved it. The restaurant has such a warm, welcoming and family-like atmosphere – it truly feels like a home away from home. It is a family-run place, and from the moment we walked in, we were embraced by the cozy ambience and kindness of the hosts. The design and decor are charming in every detail, and the food was simply divine. Everything was perfect from start to finish – we would happily come back anytime!
